Peeves, the poltergeist.

And, no, before you think about it, this post is NOT about Harry Potter. As much as I love the HP series, I am over the complete-obsession phase.

Fun fact: Peeves the poltergeist was named because he was the pet peeve of every student in Hogwarts. Fitting, right? Everyone has pet peeves in their life. If they don't, it means they are acting, or, well, they are, *coughs* weird.

This quarantine, since most of us spend all of our time with our family, we all have those things that our relatives do that irritate us. The most famous one is leaving the toilet seat up. It has been mentioned in every family-related movie and series, so this time, we aren't going to be talking about the damn toilet seat. No. There is one other pet peeve, at least, it's there in my family.

Wet towels on the bed.

I know that sounds very, um, weird, but trust me, our family has a small battle about it every, single, day. I generally leave my towel on my bed after I take a bath, so my parents have a mini-rant about it every day. I get really irritated when other members leave towels or anything on my bed due to the privacy/space bubble peeve.

Earlier, when I used to go to school, I used to have some basic ground rules. When I would come back from school, I would eat something and watch some Netflix. I used to get so damn irritated when somebody used to come to the living room when I am watching. As a matter of fact, I still do, but, eh, who's counting. This is the infamous privacy/space bubble peeve. I absolutely hate it when people invade my privacy and my personal space bubble. I don't even hug my friends much. Of course, we all have that one friend that hugs a lot. I used to hate those breath-crushing bone-breaking hugs. Ugh. My room is strictly off-limits to my family and friends but they come in anyway. How nice right?

And damn, I just realized how closed off I am to my family. I don't show them my phone or my computer. No, I am not hiding something but honestly, I don't like it when people mess up some folder or something. One time my mom was using my computer and she logged out of my google account. Yeah. I don't even know how she did that but okay.

My friends know that I hate it when people touch my things so... they take my stuff and ruin it. To be honest, I am happy I don't have to deal with that now. But honestly, after 1 year of them doing that I got used to it. So whenever they did that in school, I just gave them a "piss off peasant, you are interrupting my thought" expression. You know what they say, what doesn't kill you, makes you thick-skinned. Then again, I have gotten a new kind of pet peeve. Greetings from all languages from my best friend. I once got 'hello' in about 50 languages in my chat, just because I won't say hello. I seriously need to find new friends.

This post is all about those pet peeves that you had in your life, which have increased in this quarantine. These are some of mine, and I would love to know what other's pet peeves are.

Peace✌,

Sam

I didn't mean to offend anyone. It's just my opinion. No offense to anybody out there.
