Describe a teen. Ans:Hormones, headphones and reckless.

This post goes to all the teens in the world...

teenager
/ˈtiːneɪdʒə/
noun
  1. a person aged between 13 to 19 years.

This is the actual meaning of a teenager. A person aged between 13 and 19. Sounds simple right? Well, society is a bit more complicated.
Being a teen isn't all sunshine and rainbows. Teenage is that period (no pun intended) in life when you go from a unicorn obsessed child to an i-know-all-see-all adult. But what are you during this phase? Yeah, a teen, you must be thinking. Easy to say. It doesn't work like that in real life. For example, which doctor would a teenager go to? A Pediatrician, where small kids will be playing around? Or a Normal doctor, where adults go to? This is a major identity crisis here. Did you know that all people under the age of 18 are kids? Teens have to endure sitting between 3 to 5-year-old kids in hospitals. This isn't the only situation here, oh no. In a family discussion, are teens taken seriously? Nope. Okay, in some places they might but as far as I know,(which may be very less mind it)  You simply cannot join adult conversions as a teen, however mature you are,
The world, for some reason, describes teens as the above-mentioned title. One major thing this world needs to know is that- not all teens are reckless. Every teen is different in their own way. Yes, of course, they do have, um, let's say, a 'surplus' amount of increase in their hormones. Honestly, what do you expect? We go from cute kids to pimply gangly teens. If hormones aren't responsible for this, I don't know is. Either way, These excess-but-completely-important-hormones mean mood swings, anger problems, the appetite of a black hole, mood swings, taking of stupid decisions that you will regret all your life, mood swings, and a very oily and sweaty body. And mood swings. Did I mention mood swings?
Teens are probably (I SAID PROBABLY) the most stereotyped people in the world. I mean, come on. We are not that bad. Sure we are reckless sometimes but still. Not all teens are likely to vandalize a building. Honestly, my mother gave me a sad smile when I was excited about being 13. She literally thought that I was going to turn into a typical teenager. You know, messy room, talking back to parents, door slamming, all that jazz.
Okay, fine there was a significant change in me when I became 13. I started listening to a whole lot of music. (shuffle on repeat) It helped me with my lockdown blues (hehe... see what I did there? No? ok) Either ways, poor jokes aside,  teenagers have a lot of pressure on them. Did you know that? Maybe you did I don't know. Anyway. Teens are stressed about their future, though they don't show it. The future is a list of endless possibilities. I know I am. Most of the time I avoid such conversations with my parents mostly because it is too much for me to take on. I end up thinking I am going to be homeless. Yep, I have insecurities.
Everybody expects teens to be perfect. I am not only talking about studies here. There are a lot of new rules for teens, did you know that? Well, there is.
The world should think of teens to be a change in the world. If not that, it should at least not look down upon us.

Peace✌
Sam

I didn't mean to offend anyone. Its just my opinion. No offense to anybody out there.
